When it comes to nail art, there are no rules and you can literally do anything that crosses your mind; from extremely meticulous miniature paintings to extravagant 3D objects to abstract water marble designs.

In search for inspiration, nail technicians naturally started to look up to the fashion industry, which made total sense .

From prestigious names to indie designers, you can be inspired by a collection, a garment pattern, colors and shapes, your favorite pair of shoes, the bottles of some perfumes, packaging etc.

You can recreate anything that you like from the signature logo to popular patterns or color combos.

If you think that the logo is too much you can easily leave it behind and recreate only the pattern.

Today we are going to look at some of the most popular nail designs inspired by Chanel.

The house of Chanel was established in 1909, after Gabrielle Chanel opened a shop specialized in hats in Paris, France.

Coco wasn't an overnight success, she only become relevant in the fashion world after World War II, due to the fact that she revolutionized the industry by introducing women to new fabrics and a completely new style.

Indeed, she introduced women to fabrics such as jersey, that was never used before, and simple designs, without embellishment.

Chanel revolutionized both high fashion, also known as haute couture in the fashion industry, and everyday fashion also known as pret-a-porter.

She replaced corsets and bodice with more comfortable garments that were functional and flattering at the same time.

Today Chanel is a popular brand with worldwide recognition, and is most known for the LBD- Little black dress, the classic suits with simple yet elegant cuts, and for the Chanel NO 5 perfume.

When you think of Chanel you think of 3 words: classic, simple and feminine.

If you are interested in a Chanel inspired nail art you must make your look classy and simple; you can add some beads, or 3d pearls, and as for color you can choose between pastels or the classic B&W.
